BASYRO

The participant experience for the BASYRO event

BASYRO is an Iraqi initiative that helps high-school graduates discover engineering specialisations. Miza was the participant-experience partner for a two-day event.

The context

Choosing a specialisation is one of the hardest decisions a high-school graduate faces.

The event set out to be a mirror for students, not a lecture: they would discover their interests from what they did and chose, not from what they were told.

What Miza created

Miza designed a digital journey that runs through both days: each student starts it on their own phone, the shared moments appear on the room’s screen, and it ends with a personal profile delivered to their phone.

What it includes

  • Participant sign-up
  • Interactive games
  • Rating forms
  • Questions from phones
  • Live voting
  • The room’s screen
  • A profile for every participant

Experience highlights

  1. Opening form

Each participant activates their account on their phone and answers a short opening form.

  2. “Who are you?”

A prediction game comparing what students expect of themselves with how they actually answer.

  3. Rating the specialisations

Rating forms and questions sent from phones and read aloud in the room.

  4. Decision Challenge

A live, room-wide vote shown on the shared screen.

  5. Personal profile

At the close, every participant receives a profile on their phone, built from their own reactions.
