Who we are

This website, mizaiq.tech, is operated by Miza (ميزة), a team based in Baghdad, Iraq, that designs and builds websites, business systems and digital experiences. In this policy, “Miza”, “we” and “us” mean that team.

This policy covers this website only. MizaOS, our separate platform for venues, and the venues that use it, have their own terms and notices.

What we collect

When you send an inquiry, we receive the details you enter in the form you chose:

• General inquiry: your name, an email address or phone number, and your message; your business name if you add it.
• Quotation request: your name, business name, phone number, the service you need and a description of your project; your email address, desired timeline and approximate budget if you add them.
• Event consultation: your name, organisation, phone number, the type of event, a preferred consultation time and your requirements; your email address, the event date and the expected number of attendees if you add them.

The form also records which language version of the site you used and when you sent it.

Please do not include information we do not need to answer you, such as health or financial details.

Like any website, the services that deliver these pages also process technical information about your visit, such as your IP address and browser. This is described under “Technical information and logs”.

Why we use it

We use the details you send to read and answer your inquiry, to prepare a quotation you asked for, or to arrange a consultation with you, and for any work you then agree with us.

We use technical information to deliver the website, keep it working and protect the forms from abuse.

We contact you only about your request. Sending an inquiry does not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How your inquiry is handled

When you press send, the website checks the details and sends them by email to Miza’s inbox. The website does not save inquiries in a database or in files, and keeps no copy after sending.

If sending fails, nothing is kept: the form tells you so, keeps what you typed on your screen, and you can try again or email us directly.

Service providers

We rely on these providers, each of which processes information under its own terms and privacy policy:

• Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website. Every visit passes through Cloudflare’s network, which processes IP addresses and request details to deliver pages, block attacks and report connection errors. Cloudflare also provides the website’s visitor statistics (see “Cookies and similar technologies”).
• An email-sending (SMTP) service, which carries your inquiry from the website to our inbox.
• Google, which provides our Gmail inbox (miza.agency.iq@gmail.com). Inquiries are kept there as emails.

The website itself runs on a server managed by Miza and is reached only through Cloudflare.

Technical information and logs

To stop the forms being flooded, the website keeps the IP address of each submission in the server’s memory for about ten minutes. It is not written to disk or to the logs.

For each inquiry, the server log records only the type of request and whether it was delivered: never your name, contact details or message.

Cloudflare, and the environment that runs the server, may keep standard technical logs of requests (such as IP address, time and the page requested) to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser’s local or session storage. It uses no advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. Its script reports the page address, the referring page, your browser type and loading times to Cloudflare. It does not use cookies or local storage.

Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some situations, for example when it checks whether a visitor is a person. Because the site uses no non-essential cookies, it does not ask for cookie consent.

How we protect information

The website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. The forms accept only the fields they need, limit their length and limit how often they can be submitted. Access to our inbox and to the server is restricted to the people at Miza who need it.

No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work to protect what you send us.

How long we keep it

The website keeps no inquiries. Inquiry emails stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to handle your request and any work that follows; we have not set a fixed deletion period. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

Where information is processed

Cloudflare, Google and email-sending services operate in many countries, so the information you send and the technical information about your visit may be processed outside Iraq.

Your requests

You can ask us what information we hold about you from your inquiries, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing miza.agency.iq@gmail.com. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before acting on it, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and organisations and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and change the date at the top. The Terms of Use for the website are at Terms of Use.
